Ed Westwick and Leighton Meester are in Paris to shot scenes for Gossip Girl. In this occasion, absolutely exceptional, we have met them in the capital to talk about the show and their characters. That one that plays Chuck Bass and the one that plays Blair Waldorf  came back in particular in the last season of Gossip Girl. Today we’re offering you some extracts of the interviews that will be fully published on Excessif.

Ed Westwick talked about the sad future of his character: “Chuck suffered a terrible choc. He has to start from zero, become another person, change… But we all know it’s impossible.” As to Leighton Meester, she confessed her desires regarding Blair Waldorf: “I’d like to see Blair following her dreams, go to College. If it was for me, she would be with Chuck. But I don’t know if it will happen.”

The actors of Gossip Girl have the same ideas regarding Chuck and Blair’s relationship. According the actor, “In real life, for such a tumultuous relationship, you have to say stop, put boundaries, realize it’s too much. But there’s something magnetic about Chuck and Blair, like they’re the fission of the same atom.” Leighton Meester returned on her idea of desire impossible to satisfy: “Chuck is that kind of bad boy, Blair the type of bad girl. They’re perfect for each other, and not for anyone else.”
