This post won’t end too well, but it won’t be cruel either. That being sad, I really didn’t like much last night’s episode. It was well written, nothing to say, but somehow I wasn’t trapped by it like I was last week. And no, is not that I didn’t like the episode because there wasn’t any CB scene. Reasons are deep, and go beyond that. Is more what I as a viewer, I’ve felt.
“The thing about expectations is most of the time, someone else sets them for you. Yet you feel like they’ve been there all along. And you can’t wait to live up to them. But just because you know what’s expected of you doesn’t mean you still can’t surprise everyone.”
Tell me what did you think of the episode in this poll!
Serena (Blake Lively) enlists Charlie (guest star Kaylee DeFer) to go undercover Gossip Girl-style to determine why Dan (Penn Badgley) and Blair (Leighton Meester) are spending so much time together, and what role an unexpected visitor is playing in their lives. With Nate’s (Chace Crawford) help, Raina (Tika Sumpter) decides to go on a search for her long-lost mother. Chuck’s (Ed Westwick) hopes about his legacy are dashed with the reveal of devastating information from the past.
Since I have no idea if our M was going to write a recap, I decided to do it.
It’s really really long because it’s about the whole episode, so I put it behind a cut. The Chair scenes if you just want to know about those are highlighted but there are various scenes in which C or B talk about the other but the other isn’t there… I hope you’ll find it useful.
« You know, sometimes love needs to face obstacles to become stronger. People need to be tore apart from each other and say goodbye.
The only thing to do then, is move on, and start over. If that love was really meant to be, it would come back, stronger than before.
True love always wins against the things that want it's death. »
