“But I don’t wanna be safe, I wanna be with you.” Blair Waldorf to Chuck Bass. Cue all hearts melting from that perfect scene. Continue reading
Yesterday was the last day of filming ever for everybody but I think for Kelly and Matthew (she confirmed her last day would be Monday), and the girl who does their hair on the show posted some pictures of the cast in what it looks like a retrospective look. All the guys have their Pilot hair, including Penn who probably has a wig unless he really cut his hair (Ed looks like he has a wig on too). I believe it’s pre Pilot because the hair stylist tweeted that it would be 2005 again – we know that GG’s first post was in that year, despite the events of the show start in 2007. Maybe this retrospective will show us who is the real Gossip Girl, who wrote the post first EVER… so that there won’t be fake GG’s like the ones we saw during S5 (Georgina, Serena), and no ways to hide. Basically I think they’ll spoil who the real GG is to the audience, and for that they need all of them looking like they were 15 or something. And look! Leighton is wearing her 1.07 headband in that pic with Blake! Good memories…
“Welcome Back Upper Eastsiders, call me superstitious, but I got a feeling this fall could be my last season. Let’s face it, I’ve been at this a long time, but age breeds wisdom and this I know… the best has yet to come.”
- Gossip Girl
Well Gossip Girl is back and entering it’s last and finale season! And for the first of 10 final episodes, it wasn’t too shabby. Good job Gossip Girl, you only made me cringe on certain parts! And while I may have sobbed my eyes out now and again, I can’t help but be a little anxious. Now I know, it’s a little crazy for me to be even a bit anxious… but there’s something in my stomach, fluttering, Could it be… butterflies?

The Hollywood Reporter: Blair seems to be entering into a new phase, especially with her spirituality. How long will that last?
Josh Safran: Blair very much believes that this pact she has made with the powers responsible for saving Chuck, she will move forward with that belief undeterred. When we started the season, we talked very much about works that were meaningful to us and inspired us and some of the works that came out of that conservation were The Talented Mr. Ripley and The End of the Affair. We knew from the very beginning we were going to tell a story much like the Charlie/Ivy story has been inspired by The Talented Mr. Ripley. Blair’s always had faith, in all different ways, whether it’s faith that someday my prince will come or faith that she went to confession in season 1. The sacrifice she’s making is for the greater good of the man that she loves.
