NATE THROWS A VALENTINE’S DAY BASH / ST. VINCENT PERFORMS — It’s Valentine’s Day on the Upper East Side and Blair (Leighton Meester) can’t resist playing cupid for someone she loves.. Georgina (Michelle Trachtenberg) is intent on stirring up more drama, so she decides to crash Nate’s (Chace Crawford) Valentine’s Day party. Meanwhile, Serena (Blake Lively) is shocked by something she witnesses at the party.. Penn Badgley, Ed Westwick, Kaylee DeFer, Kelly Rutherford and Matthew Settle also star. Matt Penn directed the episode written by Austin Winsberg.

Any good Chuck and Blair news for #GG? — @melc51
I have news for fans of romance (I simply can not guarantee one group or the other, though). Why? Because while ep 100 is rife with heartache and drama, there’s light on the horizon. “[The episodes coming up] are fun and funny and have a lot of romance,” Safran previews, “more than there has been this season. And a lot of alliances and teams.” But again, I will not, can not say any more.Any idea on how long it will take Chuck to find out about this ridiculous pact Blair made with God? — Melissa

Red was the dominating color for episode 5.11. I liked the McQ blazer at the beginning and the Naeem Khan of the party. Leighton already wore a Naeem Khan from the same collection as this one, during episode 4.20 (at the beginning of the episode). Pretty and imo right for New Year’s Eve. In opposition, Chuck was dressed in dark grey.
In 5.12 her tones were more blue, while Chuck was definitely brown that looked like a dark red/dark green too. I liked the blue dress Leighton had in the early scenes of the episode, but it was inappropriate for the church *lol*. Maybe if they had her keep the light blue coat, would have been better. I didn’t like the dress she wore at the bachelorette party. Seemed too low class, a dress anyone of us could find in a cheap shop… definitely not something Blair would do.
